Well, it’s a good question. My name is Ashley and I was born Canadian but emigrated to the UK 8 years ago to be with my husband. I am first and for-most a friend and documentor of your time: your precious moments. My job as your event photographer is to capture the details, but as a friend, I want you to get the most out of your day and will help wherever that may be. I have done every job from guest-wrangling to bag-carrying, dress-lacer-upper to child’s entertainer. I love every moment (even though it is hard work) and it is honestly a pleasure to get to spend the day with you at the most important and intimate moments of your life.
When I’m not photographing, I spend my time baking, planning/executing my next craft project or drawing. Of course I have friends and they mean a great deal to me, but I am very friendly and will never hesitate to strike up conversations with strangers. I believe people have a lot to offer and you may only get one moment to learn something new.
I have a cat that’s called “Kat”, and I love autumn – Halloween and pumpkins in particular! I volunteer with several groups (Girl-Guides, Brownies and Rainbows) and love every moment. Most importantly, I am contagiously positive – there is ALWAYS a silver lining, and I can’t help but see it all of the time.
