On the 29th of September, 2014, Elaine Owens finally got to walk down the long awaited isle to marry her best friend and partner Martyn Watkinson. Elaine excellent taste in venues and chose the Regent Hotel, in the heart of Doncaster. It has a very intimate and stylishly redesigned lounge that can be a flexibly small or equally large space if need be. Both the wedding ceremony and the reception were held there and the food was delicious. I love it when I am served a main meal, and then all of the carvery dishes come to you at the table. There is an elegant little garden across the road in a square for pictures and canapés, as well as the beautifully landscaped public Elmfield Park just 4-5 minutes walk down the road. I was very lucky that the bride had some flats to come have a quick walk to get some very romantic and picturesque images that she dearly treasures.
